Nia DaCosta the director of the upcoming horror and thriller movie “Candyman” is now set to direct her first-ever Marvel Cinematic Universe movie “Captain Marvel 2”, this report has been verified by many sources including variety.

Who is the new director of Captain Marvel 2?

The first part of Captain Marvel was directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck in 2019, at that time, the movie was managed to have a domestic collection of $426.8 Million dollars and whooping $1.13 Billion Dollar worldwide collection. The movie was a chartbuster in every aspect. In the sequel of the movie “Captain Marvel 2” which will be directed by the Nia DaCosta, Actress Brie Larson will be reprising her role as the superhero Captain Marvel also known as Carol Danvers. The script will be written by the writer of the “WandaVision” series, Megan McDonnell.
