Chandrayaan 2 has completed one year orbiting the moon’s orbit. Depending on the position of the Sun, the light on the lunar surface will vary throughout the year. Therefore, when conventional imaging cameras are unable to take pictures due to poor light, ISRO uses many devices for taking and studying the moon.

The Terrain Mapping Camera 2 has been able to take approximately 4 million square km of the lunar field, over 220 orbits, compared to the previous year. The TMC-2 is said to be the highest resolution camera that is currently in orbit around the Moon. These pictures will help scientists to study the moon a lot.
