Dame Diana Rigg pretty famous for the roles she did in tv series like The Avengers and The game of Thrones has just passed away at the age of 82. She was being diagnosed in March. Her daughter Rachael Stirling told that she died of cancer. She also told that she spent her last months joyfully reflecting on her extraordinary life, full of love, laughter, and deep pride in her profession. Her daughter further said that her beloved mother peacefully died in her sleep early that morning, at her home surrounded by family and she is going to miss her beyond words.

Dame Diana was such a soulful actress who used love for her work and her co-stars. Her talent was luminous. She was the only woman to become Mrs. James Bond. So many of her colleagues and co-stars with whom she worked earlier have said such positive things about her stating how she was a combination of beauty, courage, and emotional powers and also praised her inimitable voice which no one is going to forget in British theatre. Dame Diana loosed the battle of cancer
James Bond and Game of Thrones’ official accounts have also honored her through their official Twitter accounts.
Last year Diana told me that she loves playing bad characters as they were so much interesting than good characters to her. Further, she added that she doesn’t like to be liked just like so many other actors like. She loved to be disliked.
She won the Best Actress Bafta TV award in 1990 for her movie Mother Love, then she won a Bafta Award in 2000 for The Avengers.
