Veteran American supporter Regis Philbin has passed on at the age of 88, a family proclamation says. Philbin said goodbye to the world on Friday night, a month before his 89th birthday. Lewis Kay.q reported that he died of natural causes.

The anchorperson, entertainer and moderator began work in television in the mid-50s, and got popular with the nationally syndicated program “Live! with Regis”, first with Kathie Lee Gifford, at that point Kelly Ripa.
