Recently, the Star Sports Network has revealed the entire list of the presenters and commentators who are going to be the part of the Dream11 IPL 2020 broadcasting panel, and one of the most familiar faces is not there. For this IPL edition, Mayanti Langer won’t be featuring in the broadcasting panel.

Why Mayanti Langer is not part of IPL 2020?

As per the list released by the broadcasters, the female presenters and commentators for IPL 2020 will be Bhavna Balakrishnan for Tamil, Reena Dsouza, Madhu Mailankody for Kannada, Neha Matcha for Telegu, Anjum Chopra, Lisa Sthalekar, Neroli Meadows (English), and Sanjana Ganesan.

However, there is plenty number of familiar faces who are going to be make comeback in the commentary team like Harsha Bhogle, Sunil Gavaskar, and Ian Bishop. In the pre and post-match show “IPL Dugout,” former cricket superstars like Brett Lee, Graeme Swann, Dean Jones, Scott Styris, and Brian Lara will be featuring for the English version.

Apart from Mayanti Langer, another big name will be missing the IPL 2020 this season. Sanjay Manjrekar, due to his comment on some of the players BCCI has removed him from the commentary panel. Later, he even wrote a letter to BCCI apologizing and assuring them that he’ll be following the rules and regulations this time.

He wrote, “You are already in receipt of the email I sent to explain my position as a commentator. With the IPL dates announced, bcci.tv will pick its commentary panel soon. I will be happy to work as per the guidelines laid by you. After all, we are working on what is essentially your production. Last time, maybe there was not enough clarity on this issue,”
