Farm Bill: Five arrested as protesters put tractor on fire near India Gate

On Monday, early morning, a group of some men claimed to be the member of Punjab unit of Youth Congress set tractor on fire in support of farmers against Farmer Bill issued by the central government. The incident took place at Rajpath, India Gate. They claim that this Bill dissipates the agriculture sector. Till now, five accused have been arrested while others are being hunted. Fortunately, there is no loss of life. According to the Police, the incident occurred around 7:30 am in the morning when a group of 20-25 people arrived at Rajpath in different vehicles along with a truck which that truck was laden.

Some passerby informed to the Police that protesters thrown tractor out from the truck and set it on the fire. According to the people presented there, the protesters were chanting slogans. They were chanting slogans such as Bhagat Sill will live alive and Jai Jawan Jai Kisan.

According to the Police Officer, protesters were carrying idols which they hung on the poles of a street light. Then they went live on social media and taking pictures and videos with a burning tractor.

Soon after the incident, a police vehicle reached the fuss and that group who set the tractor on the fire ran away from there. Other police vehicles in the area were alerted about the incident. Later, the fire was controlled and five accused were arrested.

A video of the people getting viral on the internet those were burning the tractor. Police said that all the arrested people are from Punjab. Some police officers were also bumped on the location of the tractor firing. At Least 23 Dead In The Clashes Between Azerbaijan and Armenia

The accused people are 28 years Sumit Pal, 28 years Sahib, and 36 years Manjot Sindhu from Mohali. Other 2 accused were, 28 years Raman Deep Sindhu from Mansa and 28 years Rahul Kumar from Ludhiana.
