How Watch IPL 2020 Opening Ceremony?
For the IPL 2020, there will be no opening ceremony the same as the last year. This is for the first time that IPL won’t be having any opening ceremony for two consecutive seasons. Last year, the fund allocated to the opening ceremony was donated to the families of the CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the Pulwama Terror attack.
This season the Committee of Administrators (CoA) has decided to cancel the opening ceremony in order to prevent coronavirus infection. The president of the BCCI, Sourav Ganguly said, “Because of the COVID and infection, you don’t want people to be too close to each other, but very soon you will see there will be 30 percent people in the ground with social distancing,” he further added, “They are properly tested and allowed to enter the ground. But I think that is going to happen over a period of time.” No Opening Ceremony & Cheerleaders This Year
